The Department of Art and Public Policy offers courses that investigate the social, ethical and political issues facing contemporary artists and scholars, and which examine public policy issues that affect their ability to make and distribute their work. Courses are designed to fulfill general education requirements for TSOA undergraduates in all disciplines. While these courses are primarily for students at TSOA, students from other divisions of New York University are welcome to enroll with permission of Anita Dwyer, in the Office of Faculty and Interdisciplinary Studies.
